LOC Destructions Presents: The Intelligible Realm Revisited

The Intelligible Realm Revisited draws significantly from Plato's Book VII of The Republic reworking narrated text from the Allegory of the Cave and juxtaposing the recounting to a series of intertwined videos of the artist's contemplative meanderings about town. Through the exploration of the nature of ideas, sensation of the material world, and issues pertaining to perception and reality, the piece additionally examines the metaphysical subjects of knowledge, understanding, and the pursuit towards establishing one's identity in an unfamiliar place.
